What are CurveLash extensions?
CurveLash extensions are an exciting and innovative new lash extension product for thicker, longer and natural looking eyelashes.
Where were CurveLash developed?
Developed in East Asia, CurveLash extensions are a professional product made of a soft and naturally curved synthetic material designed to bond to human eyelashes using a specially formulated bonding agent that creates a permanent polypeptide bond. It dries soft, remains flexible and bouncy and, more importantly, causes absolutely no damage to the clients natural eyelash.
What is the difference between CurveLash and traditional false lash extensions?
Designed to thicken and lengthen the clients natural eyelashes, CurveLash extensions are nothing like traditional false eyelashes, which are produced in clumps of about 5 or 6 and are stuck to the clients eyelashes with self adhesive and last just a couple of days.
CurveLash are individual and last two months depending on the life cycle of the clients natural lashes, which on average is 90 days. Made to be identical to natural lashes, the CurveLash extensions base is flat and the lash tip is fine and polished, just like real lashes!
Using a state-of-the-art technique, one CurveLash extensions is applied directly to the clients own lash. This process is repeated untiil the client has a full set of CurveLash extensions, creating the illustion of fuller, thicker, more defined lashes.
That is why it is of paramount importance that you train to become a professional and certified technician, otherwise your clients could end up with the illusion of fewer lashes, not more.
Do CurveLash damage the natural lash?
No. CurveLash do not damage the natural lashes unless the wearer does not take care of them correctly or pulls them out with the natural lashes attached.
Is the CurveLash application painful?
No it's not at all painful. In fact, it's considered to be one of today's most relaxing beauty treatments. You'll lay down with your eyes shut for a minimum of 90 minutes and when you open your eyes you'll have long, naturally curved, beautiful lashes. What a treat!
Are CurveLash suitable for everyone?
CurveLash extensions are not suitable for everyone, especially if you are a low maintenance girl or guy with hardly any spare time. CurveLash are also not suitable for clients with no existing eyelashes.
How long do CurveLash treatments take?
A full application of CurveLash takes one and a half to two hours. Maintenance procedures take around half an hour.
Why is it advisable to have maintenance treatments?
Some of your CurveLash extensions will fall out when your natural eyelashes fall out so, in order to keep them looking full and fabulous, it's best to have maintenance treatments every two to three weeks.
Are CurveLash extensions similar to hair extensions?
CurveLash can be compared to hair extensions. however, whereas inexperienced hair extension technicians can damage your hair and cause it to become thinner, CurveLash will not make your natural lashes shorter or sparser.
Are CurveLash adhesives safe?
CurveLash are attached using odourless, medical grade adhesive for sensitive eyes and this does not come into contact with the skin or eyes. The only substance that can cause reactions for some people (usually those who are allergic to plasters) is the adhesive on the medical tape, which we suggest using as a second option to seal the lower lashes if anti-wrinkle pads are insufficient.
